The three-day Vibrant Gujarat summit in Gandhinagar kick started today with widely anticipated Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech. At the event, he described India’s strength to global investors. He said India’s strength lies in its 3 Ds – Democracy, Demography, and Demand.
Almost 50 companies’ delegates were present out of which 25 were India’s leading corporate leaders including Mukesh Ambani of the Reliance Industries, Ratan Tata of the Tata Group and Mukesh Adani of the Adanis, who addressed the event. PM Modi also met several delegates from different nations.

Digital technology has played a key role and I have often said that e-governance is easy as well as effective governance.
We see our vision and mission as to bring a paradigm shift in our policies and economy.
It is possible to deliver quick results in democratic setup as we have seen it in the last two and a half years.
Over last 2 1/2 years,we’ve also evolved a culture of healthy competitions among states, being rated on parameters on good governance.
Gujarat, the land of Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, also represents the business spirit of India.
