Nordstrom dropped Ivanka’s clothing line and this what the First Daughter is planning to do!

It was in February, Nordstrom decided to drop Ivanka’s clothing line, and the First Daughter immediately ran to her daddy. Now, according to reports, Ivanka is opening a new boutique in Trump Tower.

However, Nordstrom wasn’t the only one to drop Ivanka’s clothing line. Newsweek notes that the Ivanka brand has been a target since her father took office in January. Her clothing line was refused in some stores to sell her merchandise due to her association with her father’s administration.

Most of her products were manufactured in overseas which stands starkly at odds with her father’s pledge to manufacture at home with his “Buy American, Hire American” slogan.

Moreover, Ivanka’s brand came under hot water after a report on the conditions of one factory in China, which was manufacturing her clothing line, highlighted poor conditions and low pay. According to The Washington Post, employees earning just $62 for a 60-hour week.

The president lashed out at Nordstrom after it announced in February it would be dropping his daughter’s line, taking to Twitter to deride the company’s decision:

But Ivanka no longer has to worry that retailers don’t want to sell her clothes because she has her very own store opening up in Trump TowerIt’s slated to open this fall.
