Is Lalu Prasad Yadav Offended With PM Narendra Modi And CM Nitish Kumar?

Apparently, Lalu Prasad Yadav and his RJD leaders were not happy with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Lalu’s party raised strong objections to their chief for not being seated along with Nitish Kumar and PM Modi at the event to mark Guru Gobind Singh’s birth anniversary.

The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief and former chief minister Lalu Yadav had won more seats for the ruling alliance led by Nitish Kumar, was seated in the front row in a separate section along with three union ministers. His sons, Deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Yadav and Health Minister Tej Pratap Yadav, were also seated in the same section.

“Why was Lalu Yadav seated on the floor? This is a mahagathbandhan (grand alliance), then shouldn’t everyone be on stage?” asked a senior RJD leader named Raghuvansh Prasad Singh.

“It appears as if there is no coalition, that it is only a Janata Dal (United) government here. People are very upset about this,” Singh lashed out. However, Lalu has not commented till now.

The Prime Minister was kidding with Lalu Yadav’s 28-year-old older son Tej Pratap Yadav, saying: “Aap toh Kishan Kanhaiya ho gaye hain (you are becoming a likeness of Krishna).” Modi was referring to a recent photograph of Tej Pratap Yadav who was playing the flute, the instrument that Lord Krishna is depicted with.

After the controversial RJD leader Mohammad Shahabuddin, who was out on bail in spite of charges of murder and kidnapping. Later the government had condemned his bail and the court sent him back to jail.

Lalu Yadav did n’t agree on the notes ban and it is sad that Lalu was upset with Kumar’s declaration of “full support” to PM Modi, and in return Modi at yesterday’s rally lauded the Bihar Chief Minister’s liquor ban.
