Breaking! Arvind Kejriwal is trapped in Another Defamation Case!!

A DELHI court Saturday directed Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to appear before it on September 17 in connection with a criminal defamation complaint filed byBJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri. Metropolitan Magistrate Harvinder Singh granted exemption to Kejriwal from making a personal appearance for the day as the CM was out of India.

On the next date of hearing, the court is likely to hear Kejriwal’s plea seeking permanent exemption from personal appearance in the matter. Kejriwal, who was summoned as an accused in the complaint filed by Bidhuri, was granted bail by the court on July 8 on a personal bond of Rs 10,000.

Bidhuri, the MP from South Delhi constituency, has alleged that Kejriwal defamed him during an interview with a news channel. The MP has claimed that during the interview, Kejriwal falsely said criminal cases were pending against him and a Congress leader but Delhi Police was not taking action against them. Bidhuri said no case was pending against him.
