19-year-old killed in Pakistan firing in Samba. Watch ground report from Ramgarh, Samba

One person was killed and at least three people were injured on Tuesday as Pakistani forces targeted Indian posts and forward villages along the International Border and Line of Control in Jammu, Samba and Rajouri districts.
An 18 year old girl was killed in her house in Ramgarh sub sector of Samba district. “A girl Ravinder Kour,18, daughter of Jorawar singh of Jerda village died after a Pakistani shell exploded in kitchen of their house this morning,” SHO Ramgarh, Suraj Pathania told HT over phone. The officer said that the incident happened around 7.30 am.

“While on the intervening night of October 31 and November 1 (Monday night) Pakistani guns remained quiet on the international border, at 6.30am on Tuesday morning Pakistan Rangers started firing with small arms followed by a small mortar at one place,” BSF Jammu frontier DIG, Dharmender Pareekh said.“They further spread the fire at four to five places in Ramgarh and Arnia sub-sectors in Samba and Jammu districts. Pakistan also shot 82 mortars,” Pareekh said.

He said that BSF is giving a befitting reply to the enemy fire.A police officer said that at 7.10am three mortar shells exploded in village Pindi in Arnia sub-sector injuring three people. The injured have been identified as Chanchala Devi, 49, Bodh Raj, 38, and Darshana Devi, 60, – all residents of Pindi Charkan village in Arnia sector of Jammu district.On Monday, a soldier and a woman were killed in firing by the Pakistan army across the de-facto border in Jammu and Kashmir. Two more soldiers and another civilian were also injured in the firing.
